The app may collect or process limited technical information needed for app functionality and support, such as app version, build number, device model, iOS version, current subscription tier, timestamps, and current app screen or feature when available.

Support, Problem Reports, and Contact Information

If you submit a problem report or contact support through the app, we may collect the information you provide, including your contact email address, issue category, problem details, and optional email address used for your App Store purchase.

Problem reports may also include technical information needed to troubleshoot the issue, such as your current subscription tier, app version, build number, iOS version, device model, timestamp, current app screen or feature when available, and internal app user ID or RevenueCat app user ID.

We do not ask for or collect your Apple ID password, Apple account password, full payment card number, or Apple account credentials.

Sharing the App With Others

If you use the Share App with a Friend feature, the app uses the native iOS share sheet so you can choose how to share the app link.

Text entered into the app may be sent to our backend service and to an AI service provider to generate the requested excuse.

Users should not enter sensitive personal information, passwords, financial information, medical information, legal information, or anything they do not want processed.

Generated excuses are created for app functionality and entertainment/productivity purposes.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Excuse Generator Machine offers auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase.

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and RevenueCat.

We do not directly collect or store your full payment card information.

Apple handles payment processing and subscription management through your Apple ID account.

RevenueCat may be used to verify purchase status, restore purchases, confirm subscription access, and enforce subscription-based feature access.
